Greg learned the trade on the ground floor in Hong Kong, trained as a packer and worked his way up to Country Manager, Philippines, before returning to the UK, running quality control for a national UK mover before starting Dolphin.

Greg learned the trade in Hong Kong and Manila, working up from porter to sales manager, before running quality control for a national UK mover. In October 2000 he and Angela took the plunge and started Dolphin, posting leaflets with their youngest son in tow. Twenty-six years on, the phone still rings through to a family member, with daughter Stephanie, son Joshua and son-in-law Michael now part of the team.

Greg and Angela Hollis, the husband-and-wife team who founded Dolphin in 2000, with their daughter Stephanie now in the business. Greg does surveys and operations, Angela does accounts and Stephanie is office manager. All of us look after the customers.

What areas do you cover?

Liverpool, Manchester, Cheshire, the Wirral and the Sefton coast are our home patch, and we cover the whole of the UK, London included. International moves run through our trusted overseas partners.

Since 2000. Greg and Angela posted their first leaflets twenty-six years ago, and the same family runs Dolphin today.

Do you handle international moves?

Yes. Our own crews pack and load for the UK leg, then we manage the overseas journey through a network of trusted shipping and destination partners we’ve worked with for years, so you’ve still got one team to deal with. We move most often to Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the USA, Europe and the Middle East, and can arrange moves worldwide.
